Soulmans Sulphur Springs Bbq

Soulman's is our favorite BBQ spot, but unfortunately, this was likely our last visit to the Sulphur Springs location. Everything we ordered was lukewarm, and I really mean everything. The bread was stale, the spicy baked potato was just warm, and the pinto beans were nearly cold. When we went to grab ice cream cones, they were out of cones, and despite my request for more, it took them over five minutes to bring them out. We lost patience and left before we could even see if they came back. This has been a recurring issue during our last two visits, so it's safe to say we won't be returning. We wish you all the best in the future.

We visited the restaurant last night (August 5, 2023) and were greeted by a young man. When I mentioned to the young woman at the meat counter that it was our first time here, she stood by waiting for us to read the menu and make a decision, never once asking if we had any questions. I was trying to explain the menu to my 85-year-old parents, and when we finally made our choices, she responded rudely, saying she just wanted to know about the meat. My dad shared his entire menu order with her, and she snapped at him. We went through the selection with her four times, and she remained rude, disrespectful, and downright unpleasant. The young man who was trying to assist us was cut off by her as she loudly corrected him, saying, “We can’t do that.” While the food was good, I will never return as long as she is at the front of the line!

We had an excellent dinner! We were warmly welcomed and received outstanding service filled with smiles and enthusiasm. We will definitely return. The three young men working there were incredibly helpful and patient! Thank you for the wonderful meal and fantastic service! The kids especially enjoyed the complimentary ice cream cones and ringing the bell on our way out. It was the best service we've experienced today!

By far the worst Brisket and Pulled Pork I have ever ate. The Lady carving the meats took all of the bark from the brisket and pulled 80% fat to serve from the pork. The toast was over buttered and only toasted on 1 side. The Mac and Cheese noodles was undercooked to the point that the noodles were still crunchy. I 100% Do Not Recommend at all! Changing to a 3 star due to quickness of response try to correct a wrong.
