Union Kitchen Inc. - Summerland

Given that I had indulged in less healthy food choices recently due to a busy moving schedule, I opted for a salad that was packed with fresh vegetables like kale, cucumber, tomato, and cabbage, along with a delicious apple vinaigrette. My husband, on the other hand, struggled to find a full entrée that appealed to him, as the items on the menu didn't come with sides like potatoes and veggies. He settled on the tacos, which were priced at $3.50 each, but even after having several, he still felt hungry. He didn't order more because while the tacos were decent, they didn't really impress him. The tacos were served open-faced, similar to how the salad was presented. We've been to similar restaurants before where sharing plates are the norm, but we've found that you usually end up spending more for a regular-sized portion, so the food really needs to stand out. I tried to look up the menu beforehand, but the website was still under construction, leaving me in the dark about what to expect. The service, however, was top-notch, with a friendly server who provided great service. Unfortunately, there were no recommendations given for drinks or dishes.

Had our second meal here in a couple weeks. It is very good food has plenty of different choices on the menu with reasonable prices for the quality. Definitely will go back

We randomly stopped in here during a business day trip to Summerland and were amazed at the menu and service. Great food. The vegetarian options are also fantastic. Try the pizza! Will definitely be back.

Wir haben uns dieses kleine, aber sehr nette Restaurant in Summerland ausgesucht, weil es bis dato zwar nur 9, dafür aber ausschliesslich hervorragende Bewertungen hier auf Tripadvisor gegeben hat. Uns wir wurden nicht enttäuscht:- Super nette Bedienung- Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis- Sehr leckeres, frisches Essen!Wir hatten den "US Burger" und wir müssen uns lange zurück erinnern, einen so leckeren Burger mitsamt Pommes (Kartoffelscheiben) und Salat gegessen zu haben. Super!

We went to Union Kitchen twice during the seven days that we were in Summerland. The couple that run the restaurant work very hard to make sure that your experience is a great one. Since we are a family of four, I had the pleasure of sampling many of the dishes and they were all very well thought out and executed. The salads, and I'm not a salad guy, were fresh and complex in flavours. The fish of the day, a wild salmon, was prepared perfectly as was the intriguing pizza that we ordered. The wines are local and well chosen, they certainly won't disappoint. Desserts were excellent, my daughter described the cheesecake as the best she's ever had. We will certainly go back the next time that we are in the Okanagan.
