China Wok - Summerville

The good: The food was very hot when I got it. Lunch special portions were big, prices were reasonable. The bad: The orange chicken that I ordered was way to sweet, making it super unhealthy. I wonder how many grams of sugar they added into the sauce. Service was below average, absolutely no in door dining due to “Covid”. They do not even allow you to walk into the shop, must order via phone or on the jail type counter with a tiny window, making it super hard to communicate. Overall they deserve a 3 star rating.

Ordered the hot&spicy shrimp. The entree was delicious but the fried rice had near to nothing in flavor. Bland.

Food was disgusting! I don't recommend at all! I've bought from here a few times thinking maybe just a bad day/time etc but each time it never failed!! The rice definitely has a distinct taste of what I'd imagine dishwater would take like!

Best Chinese food in the Sangaree/ Summerville area. Fast, friendly service and great tasting food. Ever since COVID, it's takeout only. You have to call in your order, you cannot go inside. All transactions are done outside at the walk-up door. Only giving 4 stars because they do not offer delivery or on any delivery platforms.

Best food, best people. Lived in Summerville 30 years and this is the greatest little restaurant.
