It seemed like some items might have been pre-cooked since my order was ready in just six minutes. The burrito was edible but ultimately left me feeling unsatisfied. Given the price, I expected something better. To make matters worse, the sign on the building still promotes the previous restaurant, which doesn't inspire much confidence in this place. With such an uninviting location and mediocre food, I'm afraid this restaurant might not last long.
During our first two visits to this restaurant, our family enjoyed our meals quite a bit. However, after placing an order for takeout, we experienced significant issues: our food was either delayed by nearly 40 minutes, given to another customer, or simply not prepared at all. Unfortunately, our most recent order was the least satisfying of all. The Shrimp enchilada arrived far too quickly, and to my dismay, it looked as though it had been carelessly tossed together and then stirred. The rice, on the other hand, appeared quite old. I'm left wondering if this is still the same restaurant we've been visiting, as the quality of the food has changed dramatically.
I placed a takeout order for carnitas, but when I got home, I noticed that the rice was old, the beans had an off taste, and the carnitas were lacking in flavor.
We absolutely love El Patrons! Sometimes we just stop by for margaritas and chips. We make it a point to go at least once a week for their fantastic meals. My favorite dish is the shrimp soup, while Eric is a big fan of the ACP dinner. In my opinion, it's the best Mexican restaurant in town!
Mexican cuisine is one of my favorites, and I’ve tried many local Mexican restaurants, but this one truly impressed me. Although it's tucked away behind a hotel, don’t let its location deter you from experiencing the wonderful food they offer. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was excellent. The chips were served hot, and the salsa had the perfect balance of heat and tomato. They make their own corn tortillas, which made my taquitos some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The California burrito was enormous and packed with a variety of meats that could satisfy a small farm. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
