Feedback gevenI'm not sure about the quality of the food, but the customer service was disappointing. There was a young girl at the front taking orders, and she clearly must have been having a rough day, as her service skills were lacking. It's unacceptable to throw a pen at a customer who just spent $50 in your restaurant. I value good customer service, and because of this experience, I won't be returning. She really shouldn't be in a front-facing role; it could lead to a negative experience for the wrong person.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, but it certainly won't be my last! I'm originally from New York and have lived in South Carolina for nine years. In all that time, I've never found a place that truly serves New York-style pizza—until now. This was, without a doubt, the best pizza I've had in many years! While it's a bit on the pricey side, I would gladly pay that and even more. My husband insists that we will only be ordering pizza from here going forward, and I wholeheartedly agree!
I called Familiaris and the manager said it was DoorDash's fault since they just started using them. I reminded them that I didn't order from DoorDash; I ordered directly from them! Had I known they were using DoorDash, I wouldn't have placed the order at all. They told me I needed to take it up with DoorDash and absolutely refused to come pick up the pizza or issue a refund. This happened at the AZELIA location!!! So, SHAME ON YOU!! I will spend the day warning people on every social media platform! We lost $40! FORTY DOLLARS! UPDATE: The owner was contacted and refunded our money and banned the driver. However, they still use DoorDash, and they are HORRIBLE!!!
We keep wanting Fam's to be amazing and it just keeps missing the mark. We've given up on the Cane Bay location so tonight I made the drive to the Azalea Square location. Maybe it's just all locations now because we were just as let down. The pizza is just so disappointing dry, tough crust makes you feel like you're eating two day old pizza. Our order was incorrect, I should have looked before leaving but the ticket clearly said no mushrooms. It's not the friendliest crew and for as slow as it looked inside, you'd hope for a little more attention to detail. Overall, Fam's disappoints again.
Sad that you do a amount that has to be spent in order to get your pizza. Your pizza tastes good but the fact that it's just me and I have to spend $25 in order to get your pizza delivered to my home is ridiculous and that you charge me 4.99 for delivery
