Wicked Crust - Summerville

Close but no cigar.... Having been to new haven and experienced the top places there... modern...sally's appiz and frank Pepe's I was hoping for the best especially since there was a clam pizza ... pepe's clam pie has been named best pizza in America many times ... Unfortunately my expectations were not met. Let's start with the crust very close to the Texture of a New Havin Pizza lack a little depth and flavor though perhaps A touch more salt in the dough Would help it out. It was cooked it was thin and it was crisp which are all good things. Now the most disappointing part is advertised as fresh clams minced unfortunately I watch the guy behind the bar open up a Can of minced clams...The pizza cost me just under $30 and I would be willing to pay that if they were fresh clams unfortunately they weren't as far as Loakal Pizza goes it was pretty good I'll give it a 3 1/2 star rating

We had a fantastic first visit to this restaurant, where we ordered wings and a Margherita pizza. Our waitress informed us that if we came back on Sundays, we could enjoy an all-you-can-eat deal on pizza and wings, so that's exactly what we did. Upon our return, we ordered wings and the same pizza again. However, the manager informed our waitress that he would charge us for our second pizza. This left me confused, as the "all you can eat" promotion had no restrictions mentioned. I had no issues with the waitress, but it was disappointing that the manager's actions turned us away as repeat customers by not honoring his own menu. He never came out to speak with us directly; instead, he communicated only through our waitress. Additionally, we had to ask frequently for drink refills and to-go boxes. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and we won't be coming back.

I've been visiting this restaurant every Thursday for months now, and I've consistently received exceptional service! The food is fantastic, and I'm especially pleased that they offer a gluten-free crust. The staff, particularly Brandon, always ensure that my visits are delightful. I'm promptly greeted with a drink, and I receive my cutlery and napkins without delay. My food arrives quickly, and I'm frequently checked on for refills. The seating is clean, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I will definitely keep coming back. Thank you!

I visited this restaurant after a long day at the ball field, and I was pleasantly surprised. The general manager was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The service was great as well. I’ll definitely return if I'm in the area again!
