This is a pretty typical ice cream shop you’d find in a small town. Don’t go in with high expectations. They serve soft serve and a few flavors of gourmet ice cream from a Wisconsin creamery, but nothing too extraordinary. That said, the prices are reasonable for what you get, the shop provides job opportunities for local teens, and there's nothing quite like enjoying a waffle cone on a hot day. Plus, they even have a convenient walk-up window!

Sumner is thrilled to have a place like Cups and Cones. It provides summer job opportunities for young people and allows visitors to indulge in a sweet treat in the heart of the city.

It’s a wonderful establishment with friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. I tried the Oreo espresso hard dip, and it was incredible. My husband opted for a flurry and enjoyed it thoroughly; they can customize it to your liking. He chose a chocolate and vanilla banana brownie flurry. I highly recommend this place!
