Applebee's Grill - Sumter

Good selection of food and drinks service is fair but could be improved. All things considered I would still recommend this establishment.

An employee told me he was busy with a crowded section and couldnt take my to go order so i said no problem and was leaving and he said i can still take your order. I have his name on my receipt and im contacting corporate. Bad

It had been a while since I dined at Applebee's, so my Mom, sister I met for lunch after church. The service and food were great. I'll be back!

Visit this place only if you have no expectations or very low ones. There were dirty plates scattered everywhere. The people at the table next to us had their bill in front of them, surrounded by dirty dishes (their food was clearly finished). The bartender closing up seemed annoyed to serve us.

The steak was only warm and quite tough, even though I had ordered it medium well. The fries were a bit overcooked and didn't seem fresh, as if they had been sitting in a warmer for a while. The mashed potatoes were cool, and the salad looked like it was prepared for a child.
