Mary Ann's Deli - Sumter

Good Soups!. One of the cool features of this deli is that they have the soup of the day posted on the wall outside for the entire week. My wife and I had a soup and sandwich the other day, and the soup was Tomato, Okra and sausage which was a brilliant pair with the chicken salad sandwich. It was a great way to warm up on a cold windy afternoon. We had a bowl of the Chicken and Dumplings today and it was phenomenal. The flavors of the freshly shredded chicken melded nicely with the creamy constancy of the soup. Highly recommended for the value.

Let's do lunch. I work at the USC Sumter campus and on some fridays I swing over to Mary Ann's deli for lunch. It's a local business located in the university shopping center offering a viriety of deli style subs and sandwiches, soup of the day, kids menu, and a senior citizen menu.
