Kid-friendly: The atmosphere is very welcoming for families. Parking: You can either walk from the Sun Peaks village (which takes about 20 minutes) or drive and park in the lot right in front of the restaurant.

I ordered takeout and had the spinach dip, Donair, chicken fingers, beef dip, and a Beyond Burger. The fries and onion rings were fantastic! The portions were generous, and they included sides of coleslaw and beans. This is truly delicious food, and we will definitely be back! What a great place!

Went out with my family for a nice dinner on our last day vacationing in Sun Peaks B.C. Decided on the Majic Cattle Guard Diner which was located below our accommodations. The Chef was out front of the restaurant earlier that afternoon and mentioned he was cooking ribs for the special that night and that we should give them a try. My daughter and I ordered the ribs, worst mistake ever. We were served a huge hunk of cold, under cooked, uncutable , unedible piece of pig covered in a bottle of bbq sauce. Absolutely disgusting. We were looking forward to fall off the bone ribs and that's not what we got. The waitress informed us they were cooked for a whole 12 minutes in the oven, no wonder they were gross! My other daughter ordered a grilled veggie sandwich, took one bite and that was it. A mushy mix of something covered in way to much sauce on a moldy bun. That's not it, my wife ordered a taco salad, it had unidentifiable ingredients and was also a pile of mush in a deep fried something. Finally my youngest daughter ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on the same moldy bun, she ate half but couldn't stand the strange flavor any more. Overall we ate the commercial fries that came with the sandwiches, a few mouthfuls of taco salad and some mushy potatoe salad. Worst food we have ever experienced at a restaurant!! They didn't charge for the rib dinners but charged for everything else, over $100 and we left very hungry and extremely disappointed. Stay clear of this terrible restaurant! Vegetarian options: Only two options, both nasty!

Good vibes at this place! Solid food and drinks. Great service. Will definitely come back with friends.
