Food was OK, but nothing more. Seemed to be splashed on plate, but portion was OK. Tad expensive, but so is everything in Sun Peaks.

Gisterenmiddag met de stoeltjeslift naar boven en vervolgens 2 uur naar beneden wandelen. Dat maakt een mens hongerig. Powder Hounds is dan een prima plek om je hongerige gevoel te stillen. De spaghetti Bolognese en de beef Stroganof samen met de prima huiswijn smaakten ons voortreffelijk. De porties zijn ruim. Mijn vrouw kreeg de hare niet op.

Pleasant enough meal albeit background music slightly too loud and staff a bit too intrusive- it is great they are enthusiastic but prefer to be left to ourselves a bit more. Decent choice if no "wow" factor. Reasonable value. Characterless resort generally, albeit doubtless that would have been impacted by our visit being "out of season"

We have just had the best meal here in Sun Peaks, on the seventh night of our holiday in Canada! It was the only restaurant which offered the range of food to suit us as a family and we were not disappointed. The beef stroganoff linguine is to die for and the steak stack was also a real winner! Nikki was a delight and her green tea cocktail was a hit. Sadly we are only here for one night otherwise we would have been going back.
