El Patron Mexican Grill - Sun Prairie

I ordered and picked up online. The food was just okay. Wish she added more salad vegetables as it should be salad. Beef was kind of tasteless. Could be better.

Had dinner here twice and it has not disappointed. The 36 ounce tap beer is outstanding!

It's a hit and miss. Sometimes the food is incredible and on point. Sometimes their lacking flavor or the portions don't match the price. Always friendly and attentive.

Very disappointed. Taco salad was very small (not enough lettuce or other ingredients) and missing guacamole. I asked for guacamole and was charged for a side order. Steak tacos were wrapped in foil which kept them hot but also held moisture and made them soggy. Cilantro was too weak. Even the chips and salsa were not very good. Sangria was excellent! I never received an itemized check, only the total credit card bill. The bill also included a $1.50 service fee which I assume is because we didn't pay cash.. We are firm supporters of local, family business but won't be back here ever again sad to say.

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. From the delicious food to the fantastic service we have enjoyed many family meals there. We were there this time to say goodbye to our granddaughter who is going out of state to college. A beautiful waitress gave her a gift and our waiter treated her to dessert. This place is a five star for sure. If you don't stop by you're missing out!
