Gretchen's - Sun Valley

We chose this restaurant based on its positive reviews and apparent vibrant atmosphere, but we left feeling disappointed. While our server was friendly and attentive, the food was excessively overpriced and quite underwhelming. It's no surprise that the place was empty on a Saturday night around 7 PM.

I had a fantastic lunch at Gretchen. The Wagyu burger was delicious, but the mezze plate was definitely the star of the meal. The tangerine chili olives, hummus, and beet tapenade were all incredibly tasty. So good!

I noticed a hair connecting the two burgers, and they were burned. So, be cautious and check your food before eating. On a positive note, the waitress was very sweet.

That's the best I ever had! in some big 5-star restaurants in vegas, la, seattle, boise and still gretchen my top spot! we went to our jubilee. the waiter was phenomenal, he brought a free glass champagne to celebrate our jubilee. we both ordered the specials, I got the healed and panchetta risotto. oh. devine! definitely back!

Pleasantly surprised. I usually would avoid resort/hotel restaurants, but the service and food were excellent. During summer, the terrace is an amazing place for a cocktail and a bite to eat. Valet is free and I recommend you show up a few minutes early to walk around the grounds!
