Efes Turkish Cuisine - Sunderland

Came here for a birthday tea. The service was great. Quickly shown to our table and drinks order taken. We all ate off the 2 course for £16 tea time special. Portion sizes were great. We all got potato skins and 3 got chicken shish and 1 got adana and no complaints. The chicken was delicious

We had a delightful evening meal at this restaurant. We went on a quiet midweek evening, although the weather was bad. We enjoyed a bottle of house red wine for only £15. Our starters included liver and Lohmacun flatbread with spices and lamb, which were both flavorful and generous portions. For our main course, we had chicken guvec and another dish (I can't remember the name) with chicken, garlic, mushrooms, and onions in a creamy sauce, both served with rice in large portions. We were too full to have dessert. The total bill came to less than £60, which we thought was fabulous value.

Absolutely great food and service yet again! This place never disappoints, we had mixed Shish, special wrap and chicken shish all very delicious and great cocktails Cannot wait I’ll next visit

Out for a family celebration and the service and food was excellent and staff very friendly. First time at the restaurant and would definitely return and would highly recommend.

Amazing food, fantastic staff and lovely atmosphere. Takeaway is also excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best Turkish restaurant in the north east!
