Karbon Grill - Sunderland

1. to stay in this hotel, the kardon grill restaurant tried and will not eat here again. ordered steak medium and triple cooked chips. chips hard and not in the position to eat the same, steak was rare. the personal was not attentive, no one came to ask if it was good. it took an eternity to get someone to mention eating and said, feedback to the cook. I wanted to ask a part of the normal chips, but then steak was gone, pfefferkornsauce was mostly paprika and small sauce. waited 40 minutes to teller to be cleaned, people still wait for the time to order their food. wait 20 minutes to sign up for dinner. total disorganisation and terrible meal, here for 3 nights so find somewhere else for the rest of the stay to eat. Hopefully the breakfast will be better. meal costs £29 and what a waste of money.

Located inside the Hilton Garden Hotel, this restaurant offers a wide variety of meticulously prepared dishes in a lovely, open setting. The attentive service and personal touch make for a delightful dining experience. Perfect for those who enjoy a good steak, although not inexpensive, the prices are also not exorbitant.

The family for tee, eating and service were amazing. our waitress was judy and she was very professional, polite and great with the children. Can not wait to come back and get another moschtoom and halloumi burger and the thick cut chips were beautiful....Definitly recommend.

A part of the hilton garden inn, but welcome also for non-residents. it's cool' looking, clean, neat and served good eating to reasonable trips for a hotel this stand. the staff is friendly and helpful, takes big cards.

This was our first attempt at having a family meal in a place other than our own home after the restrictions were lifted. Placed in the hotel the cleanliness as were the PPE standards of the staff were impeccable. I could not fault any of...it, a very well done. Paper plates and plastic glasses were the order of the day. Also a reduced menu, the food was acceptable and would be happy to eat here again hopefully without the restrictions.
