Porterhouse Bar & Grill

It rained on us outside and the staff was out there getting soaked moving us inside AFTER it started to pour. Music inside was way too loud and people were smoking! Manager responded with already when he was told the bathroom had problems. We spent the evening yelling to each other over the obnoxiouly loud music .. on a weeknight!

Last night my friends and I were sitting at the Porterhouse enjoying our chat. We started the night with terrible waitress. She brought us the drinks and left. We asked for some water that never came to the table so my friend went to the bar and got it for all of us. After that we wanted to order some food but no waitress on the floor. After about 30 minutes she came outside but she completely ignored us. One of us had to run after her to order some food. She did not ask us if we like it or not or if everything was ok or if we need something else. At the end of the night we have received the check with %18 included but written by the hand. My friend asked for the manager in order to cancel the tip because of the terrible service. The owner did not even come to our table to talk to us about the problem but he called the police. Yes “THE POLICE”. After 5 minutes police came but not one, 3 police cars and KF9. Are we criminals? One of police officers said: “In the menu says that you have to pay %18 for the tip.” I guess no matter if you like the service or not you have to pay (but that did not say… hahaha). So, we started talking to the police however they only listen to us and again repeated “you have to pay”. Everyone around us was laughing because no one could believe that police came because of the %18 tip. Is this real?!?!?! Surrounded by “Christmas lights” we paid and left the restaurant. I will never again go back to this place. While we were leaving the owner tapped one of the police officer. I guess he paid them good to do this kind of job. I can only say one thing: “Russian mafia”. With money you can have everything you want. I have never been treated like this ever ever ever before in my life. So please people think before you step into this restaurant “The Porterhouse” because you might get into lots of trouble.

This is the very best place to get 3 to 1...yes three cocktails for $8.00. Top shelf liquior.

Our service was very nice the manager ruined the entire experience. Rude, arrogant, uncaring, demeaning, treated his employess like ****. Will never go back.

I just wondered for those who have been to the porterhouse bar what are your views on it? We recently got married in Miami in April and visited this place a couple of times, the staff were very unfriendly and often couldn’t be bothered to serve us, although they offered table service we still had to keep taking our empty glasses to the bar and also had to get our own drinks, then at the end of it they expected a tip. We didn’t leave them a tip because we didn’t feel they deserved one. Then the night after we visited again, this time they were again rude and at one point my husband paid the money to the bar woman and she threw the change across the bar, that really got me angry. Then after ordering another drink, the woman was rude, she said I am not serving you because you dont tip! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I said why should I tip someone so rude and unfriendly and anyway I was getting our drinks myself she didn’t once collect any of our empty glasses etc. My mother in law 's partner was not happy with the way we had been treated so asked to speak to the manager, he again said we could not drink there because we didn’t tip, so he said why should we tip people who have no skills in customer service and said that both nights we visited the staff were rude etc. He then said to get the f**k out of my bar !!! We really couldn’t believe it. I have never in all my life been treated so badly by people. I am not one to usually complain but I couldn’t believe this.
