Happy Wok - Sunrise

I enjoy supporting new local businesses, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet all my expectations. I understand that restaurants often aim to cater to a broad audience, which may not satisfy everyone’s individual tastes. However, I must commend the woman who answered the phone and greeted me at the door; she was very friendly. The contactless pickup window was a bit unusual—like what you might find at a bank—but I understand that it’s a necessary adaptation during these pandemic times. The fried rice had a wonderful aroma and was packed with meat. It received a solid A for its clean, mild soy sauce flavor, which wasn’t overpowering; clearly, the chef knows what they’re doing. Next, I tried the boneless ribs, but I suspect I was served cut pork instead, as there was no fat at all in the meat. The flavor was acceptable, but I would suggest adding a bit more sugar to the sauce for balance. The udon noodles with pork were too salty for my liking, and I would have preferred more vegetables—again, just a personal preference. The moo shu pork was quite good, with plenty of vegetables and meat. However, I think it would be better served with authentic moo shu pancakes rather than tortilla wrappers, though I understand that keeping authentic ingredients in stock can be challenging. The chicken wings were flavorful and crispy, though the oil used for frying could have been fresher, as the dough had a slightly stale taste. Finally, the Mongolian beef was well-prepared, featuring ample beef with some onions and scallions in a pleasantly medium spicy sauce. This dish seemed to reflect the skill of the master chef. Overall, it's not a bad restaurant and there’s definitely room for improvement. I hope the owner or anyone reading this review takes my comments into consideration, as I've referenced the opinions of other reviewers as well to highlight areas for potential enhancement.

I was really impressed with my first order from here, especially coming from Jersey. The food was AMAZING! Not just the taste, but the portion sizes were fantastic for the price. The wings and the fried shrimp rice were particularly delicious. Everything was outstanding!

I'm a huge fan of this restaurant! The service is fantastic, and both the owners and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food is some of the best I've had in the area. My favorites are the chicken with broccoli and the pepper shrimp. I've already recommended this place to all my friends, and they've all loved it too! Highly recommended!

Customer service is amazing! The woman on the phone was very patient as I had so many questions about ingredients and cooking style. We ordered 5 comb dishes and the total amount was only $56. The food was fresh and delicious and not too salty what we all appreciate. Only know when you order shrimp and lobster, the sauce is white, not trust. I get used to the Northwest style lobster sauce with ground pork. Apart from that, the food was great. Will definitely order again.

We ordered here for the first time yesterday. This place exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the portions are plenty! The prices are great so you really get incredible value for your money. The customer service was very welcoming and efficient. I will definitely be going back!
