Japan Cafe - Sunrise

I know this restaurant doesn't have the best reviews, but I really enjoy visiting it in the food court. It's easy to locate, they open early, and the food always seems to be served hot. The fountain drinks can sometimes be off, but they do offer canned options as well as boba. My go-to dish here is the orange sesame chicken, as it's the only food court spot that serves sesame chicken. While it doesn't have the sesame seeds, I don't mind because it's usually hot, fresh, and crunchy. I also order the teriyaki, even though it's not my favorite; it's decent and part of the two-meat, two-side deal, which lets me try more than one option. I really like the fried rice, as it’s packed with veggies, and the spring roll, though small, is tasty. Overall, this place is quite good, and they have plenty of other options to try as well.

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly unpleasant, often glaring at me with hostility when I tried to engage with them. It's clear that they have a strong disdain for customers and lack any professionalism. Additionally, the food was subpar and not fresh, with a noticeably low quality. I highly recommend choosing a different place to dine.

The drinks were only refilled once, and the meal consisted mostly of rice with very little food.

The service is extremely horrible!!! They served me my takeout plate as if I was inconveniencing them. They are also very stingy with the food for the price. This was my first and last time getting food from Japan Japan! Don’t waste your money or time, you’re better off going 5 steps down to the next Korean food place or even Cajun grill. They serve the same type of food with way better customer service, customer care and portions for the price.

Ordered chicken ramen. A lot of chicken inside but totally dried out. Soup was OK though.
