The restaurant had a simple 1980s decor, the restroom was located in the back, and the service was no-nonsense. We ordered five main dishes, with the braised pork being my favorite while my friends enjoyed the Honey Chicken, Mongolian Lamb, and Beef and Black Bean. The portions were generous, and we definitely ordered more than we could finish. I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.
Had the best Hot Pot at Surf Beach Chinese speciality night. They also do fantastic chinese I would recommend you try them out. The whole team are great and they make home mad dumplings on Sundays at lunch.
My first visit was average, but my second visit was great. While the entrees were only okay, the delicious main courses more than made up for it. My third visit was equally wonderful. I must give a big shout out to the young man working there who was incredibly professional, well-spoken, friendly, and always checked on how our meals were. He sets a great example for young people in the workforce. I recommend trying the Mongolian chicken, Mongolian beef, and combination omelette. They offer decent prices and have $12 lunch specials. Unlike some other restaurants in the area, they actually answer their phones.
Classic Australian Chinese restaurant, we were a little worried with some of the reviews but pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Decor is straight out of the 1980s but dont let that put you off. We ordered the Braised pork belly, mongolian lamb, beef and black bean, combination fried rice and the good old Honey chicken along with some starters. Everything was delicious! We'll be back.
This charming neighborhood restaurant offers delicious and fresh Chinese cuisine. It was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. We were extremely satisfied with our choices and will definitely be returning to try more dishes.
