Dio's Cafe - Surf City

Inside this cafe is cozy, there's good music that's not overbearing, the staff are super friendly and c'mon... who doesn't love breakfast sandwiches all day? I loved everything about my experience here. Great all around.

Me and my friends wanted to go out for breakfast before I had to go to work, but turns out the wait was too long at the place we originally were planning on going, so we walked a bit and found this nice little place called Dios. We were the only ones there that day, and I absolutely loved it. This place deserves way more recognition, the people are so nice here and the atmosphere is really cute and they also have a piano that they even offered I could play. I’m vegan, and even though it wasn’t on the menu they made me a custom veggie wrap it was really good! Although I live near the other end of the island, I’ve gone to this place 3 times already in the same week. I will definitely be coming back :

The only place on the island that is on top of Gluten Free items, and they truly care about the Celiac community. Dedicated fryers, and a detail that makes you feel safe and happy to eat delicious food without concern. A great small family business that you will absolutely love to support and enjoy.

This was our first time here. We stopped because of other reviews that mentioned their gluten free options and we weren't disappointed. As I said, it was our first time, but it definitely will not be our last!!

Dio's is a small family run cafe that has really fresh tasting food. My favorite there is the Buffalo chicken quesadilla. The chicken is fresh and shaved instead of grilled and cut into strips or chunks. The hoagies are fresh and made to order. They also have a good cheesesteak sandwich. Also great off-island/non-touristy prices! Close to the beach so a great place to order take out and eat on the beach. A must go!
