Karen's Diner Gold Coast

This is a beautiful spot to relax. However, the food was quite dry and seriously overcooked. If I were a chef, I wouldn't have been able to eat it; it would have gone straight into the trash. On the bright side, most of the dishes were really nice, and the staff had a great sense of humor. I probably wouldn’t take a couple of kids there, especially with the frequent use of strong language. But all in all, children might not catch on anyway. The experience had its merits, and every employee brought their own unique wit to the table.

Would never do this again. The waiter taking money at the end, talked about my ‘brain capacity’ and barked at me like a dog. My husband was then forced to make a tip. My kids were on the verge of tears during dining. I get it’s Karen’s diner but too far In my opinion. Karen’s, Gold Coast.

I found the experience absolutely disappointing. The food was overcooked and dry, and no amount of mayo could mask that. I also encountered some unwelcome personal comments during my visit, which added to my dissatisfaction. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place and would not return. Overall, I am quite disappointed.
