Surfside Beach Pizza

After researching pizza places close to our beach rental, we chose this restaurant to take our pizza loving grandson. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and cordial. They sell pizza by the slice, which was perfect for our grandson. We ordered his favorite slice, which is pepperoni and green pepper. My wife and I ordered a pizza similar to a Supreme. The pizzas came out fresh and hot, but the peppers almost seemed to have been sautéed and were very soft and had an unusual flavor. Our grandson took one bite and didn't like it. My wife and I had similar type peppers on our pizza and they weren't our favorite either. The pizza quality was great, but the flavor combination was not the classic pizza flavor we enjoy and expected, thus the three star rating. All in all, we had great service and a pleasant experience. This just wasn't the style/kind of pizza we like. Kid-friendliness: We felt very comfortable taking our grandson to this restaurant and the staff was very accommodating toward him.

My husband is a picky pizza guy from New York and he loved your Sicilian pizza. I also loved the single slice I had. We were greeted so cheerfully as soon as we walked in the door. Great pizza and great service we will definitely come back next year. If we had found you earlier in this year's trip we would definitely have been more than once.

Great place with nice crowd. Very accommodating for food allergies. Highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Allergies to peanuts, tree nuts and sesame.

Great little pizza shop with tons of charm. We are a party of 6. And ate in. We ordered 2 salads, knots and 2 pizzas. The food was great. The people were all very nice. And they were busy. Be prepared if in season, especially.
