Portofino West - Surprise

The restaurant is owned by a couple who are present and attentive to their customers’ satisfaction. Maria, the owner, was professional, gracious, and very understanding about a minor issue we had with our waiter, Wedi. We discussed it privately, and she handled the situation professionally by assigning us a different waiter. Maria also kindly reduced our bill, which was fantastic. I really appreciated how well everything was managed. Highly recommended!

Everything was very good! The calamari was cooked just right with light breading. The eggplant parmesan and chicken picatta were both great . The lemoncello marcipone cake was very light and refreshing for dessert

A very happy find! We love to eat local and we were thrilled to find this upscale Italian restaurant in Surprise. Excellent food and drinks. Friendly, efficient service, and relaxing elegant atmosphere. Can?t wait until live entertainment starts up in September.

Ordered takeout. Both meals were very good. Would have liked a little bit bigger portions for the price, but quality more than made up for it. The gentleman who waited on me when I picked up my food was very friendly.

I hadn’t visited Portofino in quite a while due to the pandemic and various other life events. However, I was delighted to dine there two nights ago and had the orange roughy, which was fantastic. Now that things have returned to normal, I plan to go back much more frequently.
