Puerto Rican Pete's - Surprise

Great food! it was a bit small for $12. and not on the huge brot had the picture on the menu. it was way smaller. but the taste was great. will definitely go back! mama had pork and rice, it has a huge part, I tried the pig, it was juicy and spicy sooo good. But unfortunately I have to fall a few stars and here is the reason! . I live in goodyear, so it is a 25 minute drive for me to come there. I have 4 times during their listed buisness hours. and it was only opened once from the 4th. the first time I left, I showed at 11:15 hours to say they open at 11 o'clock. but it was closed, no light, no one in sight. 2. times when I left, they had a sign on the door closed until the 28th juni, I think it was the 19th juni perhaps the 21st, but regardless of it it was closed for at least one more fixed week on the day I went. at the third time when I went, I had to eat her and try her mother and I loved it! today we really wanted more, plus mama had a dr termin literally behind the building there I'm not sure how they stay in bosiness, because they never seem open, or I'm the most unhappy person at all. Food trucks can open and close this if they want, but if they convert into a brick and mortar restaurant, they need to be in the hours they have listed. with gas prices today. I am not going to drive back 25 minutes there, because it is a gamble, if you are even open, 3 out of 4 times I have been, it is closed during their specified open hours.! what? I love eating, but can not waste any more gas! I'm sorry.

I have installed some garage door openers for the owner. before he brought me to eat on the job site, our phone correspondence was still 5 stars. When I finished, he was in the restaurant and offered me lunch. well, I will never turn off free eating! he brought me with me and my apprentice pulled pork and bore and tear. oh, also a soak that I can only imagine came from heaven. best meal I have eaten in a long time and I will recommend this place to everyone!

This place is amazing. def makes me feel like home. great prices and great customer service

My husband and I have been searching and waiting for Puerto Rican food to be near us and finally we get Petes. The food was amazing and we can’t wait to go back.

The food is great and the restaurant staff and owner are fantastic. My two year old tried the chicken and beef empanadas and did an impromptu dance because they were so good. I love the food and will be going back again and again.
