The Teriyaki chicken was disappointing as they took a shortcut by deep frying it instead of pan frying, resulting in a tough texture.
This small neighborhood restaurant has a charming decor and offers delicious food at an affordable price. Customers can enjoy generously-sized portions, especially when ordering rice dishes for around $12. The seafood dishes are particularly impressive in terms of quality. Personally, I recommend trying the spicy boar dish. While many customers seem to enjoy the noodles here, I have never tried them myself as I am gluten-free. It can be challenging to find good restaurants in North Surrey, but this one definitely stands out for its tasty offerings. In addition to sushi and Korean food, they also have a great selection. As a bonus, my all-time favorite spot, Noodle Island, is located in the same parking lot.
This restaurant may be small, but it is definitely cozy and worth a visit. The portions are generous and the food is both hot and delicious. It has become a favorite among our family members. The service at the restaurant is excellent as well. Even a dinner for 3 people is plenty, and you may even have leftovers with a group of 3 or 4. A definite must-try!
Many obvious changes since the first opening... and yet when I choose sushi, I was never disappointed. Prices are good, with daily specialties. The service is fast and congenial, and the place is clean. I'm going to all the Sushi places... to the 160 Fraser Hwy nexus and they're all pretty good, but I'm getting back to the Sunny Dragon. Worth visiting.
Please check the receipt carefully as I have experience of the cashier miscalculating unintentionally. It's better to take out than dine in if possible as the food is quite good but just the service, seating plan, etc need some improvement.
