I call them and inform what I didn't order. the dame repeatedly says that the dynamite reel has fake crooks and yes, in mayonnaise. I repeatedly declare that I am extremely allergic to mayonnaise. I'm trying to tell her that a dynamite reel does not contain any crab, whether fake or real. She just says I should order something else next time. again and again. in the soft, I tell her I didn't order from her restaurant 'again. A happy one. I said it firmly, but without a loud voice. I am not happy to write a bad review for every biz.
My wife and I canceled a quick lunch on the hot summer Sunday. We ordered two super dynamit rolls and shared a Yam roll. The sushi was pleasant. After we ordered tea, we didn't get tea with cups, just two teas. At other sushi places we visited, it is common to have a filled teapot with cups. The interior of the restaurant also needs some work. Apart from that, this is a convenient place for us to have sushi when in the Clayton Heights area.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We ordered food for delivery and when we came home. they were all cold. I called her immediately to inform her about it. the woman who answered that she will call my account for the next time we ordered from them....then she said she will call me back. When she called me back, she said that the owner is angry because he doesn't believe us when we say that the food is cold and that we lie pretty much. I was stupid when I heard we were coming home, opening our food and seeing it's cold and calling them to tell them we were lying about it. the owner of this place has zero customer service. He has no respect for lying to us. We won't come back for 13 years when we leave them.
Just the best sushi in Clayton. I lived here for 8 years, tried every sushi joint around some not close by. I was known to drive to West Van for Chinese Burnaby for pizza, so I'm really grateful for such a great sushi place nearby.
We ordered with Skip the Dishes. Tried the Kappa Smoked Sockeye Roll and the Rainbow Roll. The Kappa was only 5 'slices ' and I found it to be quite dry. It was a nice twist to have shiitake mushrooms and asparagus in a roll, but...some sauce would have make it perfect. The rainbow roll was well presented but also dry. Good prawn tempura.
