Bar Tosca - Surry Hills

I stumbled upon this café one day by chance, and I am so happy that I did! The affordable and delicious food and coffee are always a delight to enjoy, and the staff is fantastic. They are always friendly and welcoming, making it a comfortable atmosphere. It was always a joy to see them during my weeks there. I will miss this small yet amazing café when I leave the country after my studies.

I do not recommend this cafe to anyone. The only reason people seem to come here is because of its prime location under office buildings with limited options nearby. The owners are rude and it reflects in their service and limited food selection. I feel sorry for the employees who are treated with disrespect, as there seems to be a high turnover of staff. The female owner never smiles and serves customers as if they are a bother, while the male owner, who makes the coffee, is rude. Every time I have ordered here, I have received a different sandwich than what I asked for. The cafe itself is outdated and lacks any sort of appeal. It's a shame that this cafe has gone downhill. I will never be returning.

Bar Tosca is the best coffee spot in Sydney with friendly service. The coffee is top-notch and the table service is impeccable. The menu is great and affordable, with everything made fresh daily. The cheesecake slices are fantastic and made fresh daily. The owners, Brides and Nadia, are very welcoming. Although I live in Mt Pritchard, I make the trip to Surry Hills for Bar Tosca early because it gets busy quickly.

Beautiful place near the central station great coffee (i had an espresso, my wife had a traditional cappuccino) very good. I really liked the lamb wrap (add chili) its ingenious and my wife had the suppe of the day (I enjoyed a few flavors .es was delicious). all this cost us around $20.00
