Le Souk Beirut - Surry Hills

Have the delivery of this place. The food was average average. The chicken was good, but the salad was very small together with other objects. Has the sausage really rated. If you take account of the price we have paid, 50 US dollars for a banquet shell, which hardly filled a small plate, and the food itself will always give an average score.

Ive sampled Le Souk in my quest for local charcoal chicken. The baba ghanouj from Le Souk is smoky, and the hummous is flavourful and creamy, whilst still maintaining a slight grainy texture. The chicken is moist and pretty flavourful, although I found the quarter piece small ($7 quarter). Toum was bitey and the portion of pickles was sufficient. I'd love more bread next time and the salad in the add-on (+$5 salad, hummous and baba) just isnt worth ordering. crumbs-au.com

Needed to eat a quick bite. Great lamb and beef dishes with some delicious dips. Great food in a simple area in a busy part of Surry Hills.

Came here with a large group of people, just before the closure. The food was good, but I do not feel that they could handle the amount of the raised quantity. There was no structure for the arrangement as they did not want to spend numbers with each order.
