Sushi Suma Surry Hills

An iconic Japanese restaurant along Cleveland St in Surry Hills. Very busy but food is always fresh. 28 pieces sashimi combination for $20 is a giveaway.

Since Last year, I find out sushi suma changed owner again, the service and portion back to many years ago, I will be back more often.

Have always done their great value lunches but decided to try their dinner menu with family. The servings were still huge. Despite ordering only 4 main courses (3 adults, 3 kids) , they made sure everyone had the appetisers​ and desserts. Such thoughtful gesture .

The food was fresh, tasty and delicious. The atmosphere was nice and the staff very friendly. If you like nice Japanese food this is the place to come.

This place is a little known gem. Cheap fresh large servings of sushi and sashimi with friendly service. Spent $50 for two people and couldn't finish it all. Will definitely be coming back again
