The food was mediocre overall, but the duck curry stood out as the highlight. The lack of atmosphere and outdated decor, reminiscent of the 70s in a negative way, only added to the disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place at all.
We started with fried spring rolls and pancakes, then had fun making our own rice paper rolls with sizzling beef. It was not only delicious, but also entertaining, and brought lots of laughter to our table. We ended the meal with a delicious coconut curry. We shared two starters and mains among three people, and with the corkage fee, the total came to just over $100, which was a great deal for such a tasty meal.
I expected better than what was presented. A very busy part of Crown Street with plenty of local competition, so I thought good tasty food was on the menu. Unfortunately it did not reach this level, the food was OK, with one dish was overcooked and dry and overall the portions were quite small.I left a little disappointed.
We ate here before trying two top of the tree type restaurants (Quay and O Bar and Dining). We should've just eaten every time at Thanh Long, it serves beautiful tasty food. Will be back!!!
This little shopfront restaurant is a gem. This restaurant has the best Asian pancake of any restaurant I've been to. I have so many favourites here, it is easy to go often without repeating any dish. As well as the pancake, I love the lightly fried eggplant with lemongrass. The salads and stir fries are all good. I like trying a new one each time.
