We hit the lunch rush, and there were many locals who were there, along with a few other tourists. The daily specials offered a few surprises, and it was obvious that the wood-fired oven was put to excellent use by the chef. The salads were just right, and the pasta dishes (hers was a spaghetti bolognese and I had the papardelle with venison ragu) were very special and delicious. Of course, if you come to Susa, you will have to see the Roman ruins, but you should also stop by the Pizzeria Ristorante Italia for a great meal.
Decided to eat here because the menu of the day looked good. We were slightly early, but were lucky to get the last table. Food was very good.
Most be a very popular place among locals. Stopped while traveling for lunch and came early just after noon. In 15 minutes the place was packed. Mixed grill and salad were excellent. Prices more than reasonable. Servise friendly that a bit slow, perhaps due to the number of visitors. In any case was a gret experience
