The California - Sutton

The California is one of the best pubs I’ve visited in a long time. The staff are so friendly and the best I have ever come across and the food is amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Had my daughters baby shower here 20 1 24 we had the conservatory end of the big pub… lots of room and tables for about 36 people ..All the staff were Lovely !! very friendly and helpful .. The pub was clean and tidy ..The food was also very good would definitely recommend as we all enjoy our day evening also good for parking …

Went on a Monday lunch as a group of 4. Sat in the conservatory area which was lovely. Ordered at the bar and the starter came quickly. Mains not long after was really fresh and hot. All the staff were so friendly. Planning our next visit soon

I can’t not recommend highly enough this place, the staff is extremely friendly and in our last visit the manager (short hair Latino guy) went the extra mile and got me a table even tho they were very busy and I had not booked in advance, little details like this is what makes people feel appreciated and welcome, when at the bar ordering my food, he made some recommendations and the food did not disappoint on top of that, drinks are very reasonable too.
