Cafe Copenhagen - SUTTON FOREST

Lucky the open melt was nice, because the service was pitiful and the 'thickshake' non existant. Learn how to make them. They involve ice cream and plenty of it. What was brought to me THREE DAMN TIMES was a MILKSHAKE, despite advice it was wrong. You then refused to correct it or provide a different option as i asked for (simple glass of coke). Your waiter had NFI what he was doing and barely understood the issue. Sadly for you, i was a chasnce to eat here frequently as i work in the area. NO HOPE IN HELL NOW!!!

The coffee is good and the price better than Michel's Pattisserie for instance. But if they rise their prices then move onto another coffee shop. The public needs to start sending a message to those businesses who abuse them with exhorbitant prices. Go to the fairest price to promote competition.

The central location of this cafe makes it an ideal place to meet friends. The decor could be more trendy and the menu could be a lot more sophisticated but we found that the basic menu with toasted sandwiches and a very tasty vegetarian melt appealed to us. Unlike some other reviewers we had no complaints about the food or service and would eat there again.

I visited with my friend and we really let down at this place. They're not making good use of a fantastic spot in the shopping centre.The staff aren't well trained and a senior staff member (possibly the manager) enjoys their power too much. This isn't a pleasant place to enjoy coffee and cake. If you're looking for somewhere to go in the centre, walk 30m down the hall to the Coffee Club. The staff are much more welcoming there.

Unfortunately I didn't remember visiting this place quite a while ago. On an impulse we stopped here for a coffee/cake - what a disappointment! The coffee was barely warm and quite weak. Even the "hotter than usual" coffee was warm and not hot. Such a shame I didn't check out the TA reviews before we sat down. We won't make this mistake aga.in
