Really my tourist hotspot. Høyt climate fun, but fancy sculptures. We would liquid it for a oncesopplevelse. The glass is the layer with ice cream.
I and friend visited the Magic Ice in Lofoten and we were quite surprised with the ice sculptures. The staff of the bar is ingenious, really nice people and the type of Lithuania that has served some of the sculptures and drinks is not only talented, but a great guy. We only give 4 stars because the music was strange and they did not serve hot drinks in the bar. The bar is usually -4 or -5 degrees, which is their cool, but then we can just stay a bit inside until we begin to freeze. Overall its great experience, even if it is a bit expensive, costs 250 with a drink included or 300 with 2 drinks. But you should see it more than a unique experience than just one night in a bar. It's a bar/art gallery. It looks like it's the first permanent ice gallery in the world. What his pretty cool!
Visit this place coz schneit... On Sunday night there was not much to do. We were the only ones. So we had the whole room for us. But nice... I enjoyed the slide The cocktails are served in the ice glass with another glass outside, otherwise it is too cold to keep. A unique experience.
Amazing ice sculptures with great lighting. It is open year round and is really close to the Hurtigruten terminal so it is easy to visit on the two hour stop in Svolvaer. The entrance charge includes a drink in an ice glass with the choice of alcoholic or non alcoholic and, more importantly, includes a thermally insulated poncho so it is still ok to visit if you are not already wearing polar gear. The entrance is along the quay to the left of the ship.
