Piermont Retreat - Swansea

This is a fantastic spot right by the water. We visited in September and stayed in a holiday home located near the sea. It's perfect for families, featuring bunk beds and a fireplace. The cozy little house is just a short walk from the water. The restaurant is excellent, and they even welcomed our children during dinner. The coffee was the best I've had in the area. I wish we could have spent more time by the pool, as well as playing tennis and kayaking, but the weather didn't cooperate. We also took a day trip to Freycinet and Bicheno, which involved a bit of a drive. There isn't much in between, so that's really the only option available.

Last night, we had an unforgettable dining experience at the restaurant, which is tucked away from our holiday home. The view is stunning, overlooking the pink granite of Freycinet and Cole Bay across the waves. This side of the bay is exposed to the wind and weather, so be sure to pack some warm clothing!

The accommodation is lovely, offering a stunning view and a cozy holiday home that’s perfectly furnished for relaxation. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while taking advantage of the complimentary kayaks and bikes available to explore. The nearby beach is perfect for strolls, with plenty to see along the way.

We were in the 2 bedrooms seaview cabin. I loved it! a view from every room. big for families and the kitchen meant that we could be enough. children loved the pleasant things and we loved the relaxing environment. Rooms: the rooms are very well maintained and thoughtful. we spent time walking near the freycinet national park, but our 'rest' day in the room was great and very relaxing. close to activities: easy to reach from weinbergen and freycinet nationalpark

Awful- millipedes everywhere.We discussed our concerns the night of and the morning after with super unhelpful staff (one of whom went to check the room after we left to ‘prove it was 2 millipedes’ obviously we’d taken photos of the many millipedes and gave them a chance to rectify the issue but to no avail.Thank god we stayed one night but a waste of 500 dollars.
