Cariad Cafe - Swansea

Disappointing visit to this quiet cafe . I put our breakfast order in and after 15 mins , just before my husband breakfast arrived a waitress came over to say they were out of avocado. Why did it take that long to look in the fridge ! Anyway i had to quickly think of something else as they'd brought out my husband breakfast. (Which had snotty eggs and unpleasant beans) So I had an poached egg instead of Avocado. Would have liked to have been warned sooner to have more time to decide. They did not offer a refund as there was a difference in the price . I didn't say anything as wanted to see if the waitress would rectify. But they didn't. Staff very downcast and not that cheerful. Atmosphere flat. Used to like going to Cariad under the previous owners . Shame . This area is missing a decent cafe.

Had fabulous Welsh breakfasts...but never have a burger..overpriced and overcooked..only have breakfast in the mornings.

Lovely cosy cafe with a great fried breakfast (I was super happy with the veggie sausages which were excellent! . Amazing hot chocolate too. Great staff and service. Free parking opposite and a park for the kids. Cannot fault the Cariad Cafe!

In my opinion I enjoyed this establishment and i a food critic shall write good news on you're behalf

A lovely cafe run by friendly efficient staff. I had a best ever Lasagne with a portion of chips and salad with a coleslaw the meal was well presented and tasty. This is a place I will visit again.
