Gwnd Arms - Swansea

This is my fourth visit to Wales and my fourth time at the Gasthof. As usual, the food was delicious, especially the lamb dish, which was outstanding. The service was very attentive, but we experienced a significant delay, waiting over an hour for our food to arrive. Despite that, I always enjoy the atmosphere here.

I absolutely loved the Christmas dinner here! I didn’t take any photos because everything was too beautiful to disturb. They do have a picture of the steak, though, and it was the best my brother has ever had! The service and the atmosphere were both fantastic, and we've already made a reservation for next year!

A wonderful spot to take a break while traveling. The parrots are friendly, and there are plenty of other animals to see. The food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

I've been here regularly for 14 years. because of kovid and disease I've been the first time for 30 months. I am so glad that I went, a glorious day, first a walk through the small zoo, then further into the inn, by friendly, professional staff, very comfortable, quirky environment and excellent eating, my ribeye steak was perfectly boiled, beautiful cheeseboard from welsh cheese. I'm sure I'll come back more often.

The staff are fantastic, always smiling, very welcoming and go out their way to help The food is mega! Would recommend booking in advance, can be hard to get into Baileys cheesecake pictured below
