Went to subway upland today after waiting for a long because they were doing Deliveroo order my two salad boxes where ridiculous. I had double chicken tika and all the salad. When I got home to open them they where the smallest salads I had seen. I literally had two pieces of cucumber and four piece of sweetcorn! Completely rip off seen as they are around £7! Waste of time and money could have made a much better one at home. Would highly not recommend if you want a salad it’s not worthy it!
Extremely nice staff came in at around 2pm Sunday 24th,even though they were backed up on orders they took the time to serve me first and make sure everything was good for me. Will definately be coming back again
Today I had the worst service that I'd ever had from a Subway. Firstly, none of the staff were wearing masks to reduce the risk of covid. Secondly, no one was wearing name badges so I can't even call out the lady who made my experience really difficult, I can only describe her by her dark mullet. She seemed to be the supervisor/manager. She was very impatient with my long order, which was 6 subs in total and didn't offer to change her gloves when I said I was ordering 4 vegan subs. She rushed making my subs, recklessly throwing ingredients around the place. When my first two subs were ready to have salad put in them, she was asking me what I wanted in the next subs at the same time a young man (who appeared to be a brand new member of staff) was asking me what salads I wanted in the first two subs. I had them both asking me what I wanted in 4 different subs all at the same time! The young man took care with my subs, I could see that almost all of the salads had been cross contaminated and he almost put a jalapeno in my sub instead of a pickle because they had been mixed together. I could see that he was very stressed and I feel really sorry for him. He took his time to ensure my subs were made well but the lady very loudly told him and the other young man working there that they needed to hurry things up, asking why they were so slow, loudly enough to embarrass them in front of all the customers in the store. She was absolutely out of order and isn't suitable for a supervisory role. I hope the two young men working there are commended for their patience, their ability to cope with working under her in a shop full of customers, and their effort in making my subs. In customer service environments, customer satisfaction should come before profits, quality over quantity. It seemed that the young men were trying to make sure that my subs were made well, while she seemed to want to get rid of the queue and maximise sales. This is absolutely unacceptable, I've always had good service from this store but today I left the shop feeling angry and sad for those poor young men who tried really hard for me. I hope this review is brought to the attention of the staff in the Swansea uplands store and I hope that I am never served by that horrible woman ever again.
The staff on the Uplands branch are shockingly bad at their jobs. As opposed to playing on their mobile phones it might be a good idea to serve paying customers instead. Also whatever happened to service with a smile? Maybe they could use some staff training from the Neath branch as the service there has been consistently good.
