Waun Wen Fish Chip Shop - Swansea

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The food was delicious, hot, and reasonably priced. I didn't have to wait long for the fries to cook either. I will definitely come back in the future.

This chippie has the best tasting chips in the town,top quality fish,sausage,pies chicken etc, the gentleman who runs it is a lovely fella and the place is extremely clean, I used to go elsewhere but after tasting the quality in this shop I go there all the time,also I hear many recommendations about this lovely place,try it you wont be disappointed.

Chips are always freshly cooked and cooked to perfection!. Pukka pies are great and the rissles too!!. Good, consistent chippy 10/10

This restaurant in Swansea used to be known as the best fish and chip shop 20 years ago. I used to enjoy getting a chip sandwich and a can of drink for only £2 during my lunch breaks, which was a great deal. Unfortunately, on my last three visits, the quality of the food has been disappointing. The chips tasted stale, like they were reheated from the day before and had a cardboard-like texture. The rissole I ordered was dry and seemed to be expired. This level of low quality is not acceptable, and I am tired of wasting my money here. Additionally, the restaurant appears to be in need of a thorough cleaning.

Chips were poor. Maybe old oil, maybe wrong choice of potatoes just tasted below average for a chippy. Sausage in batter wasn't much better either. Wouldn't go back.
