For many years we really enjoyed Christmas eve lunch in the courtyard with its lovely atmosphere and fantastic food and service. We have celebrated all our important occasions in this restaurants and we were never disappointed. Wanna hand her team do a suberb job
Our family celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary in the Courtyard Restaurant last weekend. Oana is absolutely amazing. Even with current restrictions and dealing with all the extra work involved in this current climate, nothing was too much trouble. We felt very safe as we witnessed constant sanitising and everyone was wearing face masks. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Served piping hot with plenty of veg and extra potatoes. The food in my opinion is still the best value for money in Swords. We brought our own cake supplied by Kanti Catering based in Swords. Again I can not thank Oana enough for the way the cake was presented and we were even supplied with cartons to take some of the cake home with us. As a family we celebrate every family occasion in the Courtyard Restaurant and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you to all the lovely staff that made my parents night a night to remember.
Went for a family meal can only say that it's fantastic that the restaurant has opened back up as the food was super. The staff looked after us so well the distancing between every table made everyone feel safe secure. The options on the menu gave a lot of choice and the value for the meal was excellent. Would highly recommend the Salmon or the Turkey/Ham dishes but everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food every plate went back empty. Will definitely visit again as the staff were so welcoming the food was great. Can't recommend enough! Thanks to all the staff keep up the good work!
I can’t speak for other diners in our party but for myself and another vegan in the group I can only say it was the worst vegan food I have had in 6+ years being vegan. Our main course consisted of half an aubergine sitting in a bowl of green ‘water’ full of chickpeas. That was it! Falafel starter was five falafels on rocket leaves and dessert was sorbet (the highlight of the meal). Spirits were served in a half pint glass. I would have said something at the time but didn’t want to create a scene when someone else was picking up the tab. Overall, awful. Do not go here for plant based/vegan food!
We went for a romantic meal Valentines weekend Saturday 13th to avoid the crush on the Friday night . A great evening from start to finish. We arrived a few minutes early, so we were directed to the bar and were greeted by a super friendly Italian barman. We had a very relaxing pre dinner drink and a few minutes later we were invited to the restaurant proper. A large two seat table with plenty of room around it was our home for the night. We opted for the 3 course offer and unusually, selected the same dishes for each course, goats cheese salad to start, Beef Medallions medium for mains and fresh fruit pavlova. The food was excellent a special mention for the meat which was one of the nicest pieces of beef we have had in a long time. The house Merlot was the perfect accompaniment. Staff were very good in particular the manager, a little mix up with the bill was sorted within a moment, with no fuss. Would highly recommend the Courthouse Restaurant
