Portillo's Hot Dogs - Sycamore

Everyone recommended that I try Portillo's while I was in Illinois, and I'm so glad I did! I was thrilled to find veggie dogs on the menu, especially since I could get them Chicago-style—that was the best surprise! The hot dogs were delicious, and the famous chocolate cake shake was absolutely to die for. You can either sit down and take in the fun, eclectic decor or grab your meal to go quickly. Be sure to check it out while you're in Illinois!

I absolutely loved everything about Portillo's! The Italian beefs were excellent! Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend checking it out!

I might just be speaking for myself, but I often receive great service when I bring positive energy. Anyway, the food met my expectations, and my order was spot on. All I really wanted was some classic Portillo's to satisfy my cravings. When I received my meal, I was even called "chief," which was a nice touch. I guess I truly enjoy being around people, considering we're all sharing this planet together!

These folks have a great sense of humor! To make a long story short, I ordered a Caesar salad. On my way home, eagerly trying to enjoy my meal, I opened my bag only to find there was no bread at all...

I'm not sure what's happening with this location, but it seems to have declined lately. They forgot some items in my order a week ago, and my attempt to resolve that was frustrating.
