Mcdonald's - Sydney

I ordered a kids meal and two burgers totalling 27 dollars from this restaurant. I would have been okay with this if I had received what I ordered. However, when I got home, I discovered that the kids meal burger was sad-looking and not what I had requested (nuggets). Instead of two quarter pounders with cheese, I received two burgers with just onions.

As a Walmart employee, I visited this restaurant during my half-hour lunch break. I placed my order with only 20 minutes left before I had to return to work. Unfortunately, my entire break was over and my order still was not ready. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I would give it zero stars if possible, but that option is not available. When I asked for a refund, they denied me and I ended up wasting $13. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have had issues with my food being prepared incorrectly, overcooked, or undercooked at this restaurant in the past. However, today's experience was the final straw for me. I ordered a junior chicken sandwich (see picture) with just a drop of mayo and a small amount of lettuce. To my surprise, I was charged an extra .59 cents for additional mayo, even though I had already shown them the sandwich. This was completely unreasonable.

First m, I asked double hamburger without pickle but they still added pickle in it. Second, they took too long to make my food even people who ordered after me got their food before me. Third, they didn’t apply the discount I deserved. Overall very very poor service. I won’t recommend it to anyone

We went to this restaurant twice within two weeks to see if there was any change. Both times were not the busiest 2:30 pm and 7 pm. We watched staff put away tray from high chair without wiping it off. No tables washed off and floor littered with garbage. Second trip ketchup and pop stuck on table tops, garbage littered beneath many tables, ketchup and pop dried up on the condiment section. Kitchen door was left open and we could see fries laying on the floor. Great environment to pass Covid or any other type of infection. Staff were standing around and when they seen me taking pictures they finally came out to clean garbage off table and sweeping garbage off the floors. Too bad no one working in this particular establishment cares about cleanliness specially where Covid is strong in Cape Breton.
