The bakery had some decent-looking items, but the antiques side had very little to offer. Only opened from 10:00-6:00, so not really convenient.
It's not really a restaurant but a market that makes and sells some of the best baked breads, pies and rolls in Cape Breton. Their dinner rolls and tea biscuits are the best. Stop by and check out when the rolls are coming out of the oven (they bake them throughout the morning and early afternoon) and buy some. I'll guarantee you'll eat one before you leave the parking lot.
We just stopped in today and enjoyed the lunch special. Sandwich, dessert square and tea/coffee for only $4.95! The onsite bakery produces delicious fresh breads, cookies and squares. Also in the same location is an antique shop with an array of vintage finds!
We stayed here in the summer of 2016, and really wished we had stayed longer than one night! _For those who enjoy getting back to nature, getting out of
