Allfine Chinese Cuisine House Forest Lodge

I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant and have always been impressed with the food and service. I highly recommend trying their chicken and corn dumplings.

Great tasting Chinese food. Love their dumplings taste is authentic. Prices are very reasonable.Humble family business, husband and wife team.

Not a bad place to get dumplings, but not outstanding either. I tried the steamed vegetarian dumplings they were nice, but predominantly filled with vermicelli noodles (and I prefer more vegetables). They also seemed to have a lot of water inside each dumpling, which made me think they were boiled rather than steamed. Still, they were quite tasty and the price was reasonable.

Finally there is an authentic Chinese restaurant in Glebe! This place is run by a husband and wife (and their young son . The food here is delicious and cheap Make sure to get the dumplings with garlic and chilli oil as they were awesome. We also had the sichuan fried noodles which were great. My only complaint would be the ambience, but the food was great, so who really cares. Dine in for a cheap and cheerful experience or grab takeaway and eat in front of the TV :

In the back streets of Forest Lodge hides a Chinese resto with the flavours of Sichuan, Hunan and Hong Kong. Allfine Chinese Cuisine House looks like a half arsed conversion of an old hamburger shop, decorated with brick patterned wallpaper and plastic chillis to hide the chiko roll ads. This is a simple operation, a couple of friendly laid back folk doing the cooking and serving, their kid doing homework at one of the tables. While the food can take a while to come out, it's often because they're doing it all by hand and doing it fresh to order, it's worth a small wait.
