I recently tried the Croissant St. Denis and absolutely loved it! While it is a bit on the pricier side, the quality has remained consistently excellent. I will definitely be returning!
You can't miss the famous egg sandwich; it's one of the best in Sydney!
I went for a family brunch with 16 people, so I didn't manage to note down all the dishes we tried. However, Devon Cafe definitely offers some fun and flavorful dishes that are creatively presented. I had the Corny Benny ($21). It was my first time trying corn bread, and it was delicious, pairing wonderfully with the smoked salmon. The Dr. Seuss dish looked fantastic too and was quite nostalgic. Croissant St Denis $25) 4.5/5<br/ Ghetto style omelette, prawns, crab bisque beurre blanc, caviar, fine herbs, French croissant<br/ <br/ I was extremely impressed with the presentation and size of this dish, with the caviar adding wonderful pops of colour and the beautiful crab bisque begging me to dig in. The croissant was fresh and had a lovely buttery flavour. The crab bisque was undoubtedly the highlight as it elevated this dish to another level. The bisque was beautifully thick and rich with seafood flavour and this was topped off with the crab meat scattered throughout. The omelette was smooth and creamy but did cause the dish to be a tad too heavy for my liking. I believe that more cherry tomatoes or another element of freshness would've done the trick.
Good food and good service. The serving sizes are just right in my opinion and the quality of the food was fresh and delicious. Can get busy as it is a hot spot for brunch but staff are as attentive as possible. Decaf coffee here was also very nice.
