Compared to other Hero Sushi Square, this location service is not good. their service should be improved and faster.
I have to give a shout at my favorite sushi place. all places to choose in a food dish and he and my niece went immediately to hero sushi. and then again for more. and then a few days later when we were back (gateway is a big, cheap option to eat in circular quay,) he was back. he eats a lot of sushi, so I trust his mind!
A very neat sushi outlet with slick presentation located inside the new Gateway food court. There's a wide range of perfectly stacked sushi rolls served by polite, well presented staff. We had the usual tuna and avocado roll $3.00) and salmon and avocado roll $3.50).
Got in pretty late. Last Orders at 8pm so I settled for what was left of the sushi train. Beggers can't be choosie so I settled for the California Rolls, Prawn Nigiri and Crab Claws. Not bad considering there were only about 20 or so dishes on the 200m track of sporadic plates. No complaints. Service was cute. Ps. This place is up the escalators at Gateway.
The neatly stacked pyramid of Crab Rolls $3.50) first caught my eye. I'm such a sucker for that fake crab meat if it's combined with a decent amount of Japanese mayo. Also picked the Black Rice Salmon Avo $3.50). Both were good, neatly wrapped and presented well. Service was efficient and keen.
