We went to Kafeine based on my travel book that recommended them and because I saw their menu online and it had French toast on it.
Cute little place near the station. Went for a coffee and a drink. Sumful place during the lunch break. Very fast turnaround and great ambience.
The place was busy during lunch, but the line moved pretty fast. My pulled pork burger was on the petite side, but I think that leaves room for dessert. The torn meat was cooked in a sweet BBQ sauce and arranged between a Brioche bun. The Slav was a simple cabbage and carrot mix with a mayonnaise. It was nice enough, but not very memorable. Good option for a fast lunch.
I was feeling tired at work one afternoon and felt like something naughty but not too naughty to pick me up. Kafeine provided just that in the form of a gluten-free brownie. If I'm honest, it wasn't the best gluten-free brownie that I ever had but it was probably the healthiest! It was on the dry side and was barely sweet but it was a healthy treat that made me feel a lot less guilty. Super friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
