Super tight restaurant, with poor service and very weak dishes. It's just down the street from Chinatown's restaurants.
Small Japanese restaurant located in Chinatown. It is very small and narrow but this creates an authentic Japanese ambience. The food offered is very tasty and we have enjoyed one of our best meals ever.We have offered a bowl of seagrass salad, a sushi platter and combined menus including meat, rice and noodle dishes accompanied with Takoyaki. The taste was impressive so we decided to order some more courses. The drinks served were Japanese and were very nice.I would recommend Fuji Apple Lemonade.Surely you can get international beverages like Coca-Cola too.Definitely one of the best experiences during our stay in Sydney. We recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine for reasonable prizes. The menus mentioned before were sold for $15 with many options to choose from.It is absolutely a trip worth.
In the alleys of Chinatown a few steps from Darling Harbor this very small restaurant of Japanese cuisine offers a wide choice of dishes with the possibility of combining them with cheap menus. We tried ramen, chirashi and ebi gyoza - all very good. Very courteous and quick service, prices below the city average.
I went there on Monday night by myself. It was quite full so I thought it must be good. I was sitting at the bar. I ordered a teriyaki salmon bento, wagyu beef with homemade sauce as entree, and 100ml sake. When I asked to warm the sake up, I've been told that they can't do it unless I order a bottle, which I accepted. The waitress spilt the sake over my bag when she tried to pass it to me. I wasn't upset until I got my wagyu beef. It took them ages to prepare the beef, I almost finished my bento...The beef looked hard, and tasted hard. It was still icy inside (maybe they just take it out from the freezer or somewhere), and chewy (I can't even swallow)......I was so disappointed and sent the whole dish back to the kitchen. No one came to ask me why or apologies. The worst part about this restaurant is that they are not willing to handle the food properly and deliver good quality food to customers. Also, when something happened, they refused to solve it. They hopeless...
