Mad Pizza E Bondi Beach - Sydney

Loved their pizza! The restaurant uses Caputo flour which is, hands down, the best flour you could ever find. Toppings were fresh and the vegan pizzas were incredibly taste it. Unfortunately, I won't give 5 stars as the service wasn't great since the waitress had a terrible attitude. Lastly, we were sitting in the room above the pizza oven and it was super smokey, hot and we ended up smelling like food once we left.

Diego is the best waiter and manager who really looks after his clientele and is attentive, obliging and just altogether lovely despite being the only one to wait and manage. He is so enthusiastic about .the place and about the Sunday afternoon jazz. The pizza is exceptional and the atmosphere is sublime. It’s a pity you can’t order Mad pizza Darlinghurst pizza via the food delivery guys, despite being on their websites. This needs to be attended to as I ordered from Mad Pizza once before (because of their amazing pizzas and when I called, Diego said they don’t deliver. Still doesn’t effect my 5 star rating!! :

Overall a good pizza, nice dough/crust and great that they offer 1/2 and 1/2. Slightly light on toppings for the price so took off a star.

Had a lovely dine in dinner experience thanks to Diego. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. He even made a bespoke Limoncello drink for me which was incredible. I’d highly recommend doing half and half too I went for the Hot D*mn!! Otto Bianco. The pizza was cooked to perfection and they were generous with the toppings.

This is a nice casual place for lunch or dinner with friends. You can enjoy dining indoors or outside. Love the $13 half-pizza lunch specials which are a bargain and a major drawcard. There are plenty of pizza choices to choose from, they are decent tasting and wait time isn't long.
