Mecca Coffee King Street, Cbd - Sydney

While in Sydney, I had so many dining options, but I ended up visiting this restaurant two nights in a row. That should give you a hint about how I feel about it!

I really enjoy this Italian restaurant, where they prepare the pasta right in front of you. The chefs are friendly and make an effort to chat with you. I always order the carbonara with Mr. T noodz. The space is quite large with plenty of seating. The only downside is that if it's busy, you might have to wait a while in line.

This is a unique spot. The upstairs seating has a nice, cozy ambiance, and you place your order at the counter before receiving buzzers to alert you when your food is ready. It feels a bit like a mini food court. The pesto chicken pasta was just average, but the truffle oil pizza was excellent. They offered a dinner deal of a pizza and drink for $20, which is a great value since the truffle oil pizza alone costs $20. The tables are somewhat small and feature large centerpieces, making it difficult to share food if you're with a big group.

The restaurant is a nice space, huge on 2 levels , with cosy little pockets warmly lit. It's self service and it can take a while to get your order during lunch or dinner hours. However once you have ordered and have found your spot, you can really while away the time here, provided it is not peak hours. Staff is friendly. The pizzas are tasty enough but nothing extraordinary. Reasonable portion sizes for the price you pay. Suitable as a regular haunt if you work or live nearby.

Very busy during peak time, with long queues, but well organised.It is divided in two levels and it has a nice atmosphere created by light on tables.You can also find herbs and condiments on tables if you want to add basil, rosemary, etc. to your meal.Pizzas were ok.
